The acclaimed series of HBO Succession is ending its career with one final victory lap of awards season. After leading the 2023 Primetime Awards with 27 nominations, the family corporate drama on Monday received nine nominations at the Golden Globesleading the field and setting a new record for a television show.
Succession was nominated in every category for which it was eligible, including Best Drama Series. Her dominance was most notable in the male categories, with three nominations each in Best Actor (for Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong and Kieran Culkin) and Television Supporting Actor (for Matthew Macfadyen, Alexander Skarsgård and Alan Ruck).
