Singer Taylor Swift celebrated her 34th birthday on Wednesday evening in a New York nightclub. She arrived at the location hand in hand with her friend, actress Blake Lively (36). However, one person was missing that evening: Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce (34).
Mini dress with starry sky
Apparently that wasn’t a problem for the birthday child. She shone alongside her celebrity friend, which was also due to the singer’s outfit: She wore a glittering black mini dress that featured a jeweled night sky on the front and side. As “People” reports, the dress from the fashion brand Clio Peppiatt costs $2,335 (around 2,140 euros). She paired it with black platform heels, a sparkly silver handbag and her signature red lipstick.
Lively also opted for a black look: The former “Gossip Girl” star wore a leather dress with spaghetti straps and knee-high boots from Christian Louboutin. The stylish duo was traveling together on the other side of the Atlantic just two weeks ago: On November 30th, the women attended the London premiere of Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” film.
Travis Kelce had to practice
Of course, Blake Lively wasn’t the only party guest on December 13th. Taylor Swift is known for her large circle of friends, and The Box nightclub quickly filled up. Only one person was missing: her boyfriend Travis Kelce (34) remained in Kansas City, Missouri. According to the New York Post, the athlete missed his loved one’s celebration because of mandatory football practice for his team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
However, the couple had shared some lovely moments together in the days leading up to the birthday. On Sunday, for example, they celebrated together in a good mood at the after-party of the game against the Buffalo Bills, even though Kelce’s team suffered a defeat.
The two publicly confirmed their relationship in September.
