After he was released from prison on parole, he allegedly approached Vergara’s home in a gated community again.

In court documents, the 51-year-old alleged that the man was a “mentally unstable stalker” who “delusionally believes that he knows her personally and has a relationship with her and her family.” Finally, he is said to have written her a letter in which he announced that he would “see her very soon”. His “aggressive and harassing behavior” frightens her and she worries for her safety, Vergara said. A judge recently granted a temporary restraining order requiring the man to stay at least 300 feet away from the actress and her son and banning him from contacting her.
