The possibility of launching a new album Charlie Garcia, “The logic of the scorpion”was fed by the manager and producer Jose Palazzo by spreading a photo of the musician on the social network
In the image shared on that social network you can see Charly next to the keyboard and accompanied by the singer Rosario Ortega (backup singer in his band) and Palazzo himself.
“Garcia’s album ready…. Let’s see if the record labels screw up that the boss cooked everything.”Palazzo wrote, without innocence.
Charly’s last job was “Random”in 2017, recorded mainly in the studio of Palito Ortega in the Buenos Aires town of Luján.
On this new album there would be some sessions carried out at that time, but then García made adjustments in a recording studio near Parque Centenario.
The musician also worked with his arsenal of iPads at his home in Coronel Díaz and Santa Fe, where he prepared some bases and sampled clippings of other people’s songs.
A Charly album with friends
For this adventure he summoned musicians such as Fabián Quintiero, Fernando Samalea, Rosario Ortega, Fernando Kabusacki and Hilda Lizarazuin addition to the Chileans Kiuge Hayashida (guitar) and Toño Silva (drums), who recently declared that the sound is “rocky and modern.”
In relation to the experience of playing with Charly, Kabusacki told the Télam agency: “Playing with Charly is ‘touching the sky with your hands’, as they say. It is a high experience, one of those that does not happen all the time, that puts us in a different reality than every day. It goes without saying, but Charly’s musical stature is incredible. The experience of him, the genius of him, the knowledge of him.”
“It’s redundant because we all know it, but he is one of the greatest artists in the world. Truly a teacher. There is no one like him. It is an honor and always a joy to share music with him,” concluded the guitarist.
