Jennifer Hudson (42) provided a lot of glamor on the red carpet at the 50th Daytime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Friday evening. The singer mastered the storm of flashes in a gold, figure-hugging sequin dress with delicate spaghetti straps. She also wore beige, pointed suede pumps.
A sparkling silver necklace and matching hanging earrings and finger rings provided additional glamor. She styled her shoulder-length hair in light waves. When it came to make-up, Hudson also used glittering eye shadow, black eyeliner and nude lip gloss.
The 50th Daytime Emmy Awards
The Daytime Emmy Award is presented every year. As a rule, the award ceremony always takes place in May or June. Because of the Hollywood strike, the event was postponed to December this year. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Television Awards honor the best non-prime-time television programs in U.S. television programming.
In addition to Jennifer Hudson, stars such as Sherri Shepherd (56) and Susan Lucci (76) were also there this year. The series “General Hospital” and “The Kelly Clarkson Show” received awards, among others.
