La Rioja is positioned as a destination for film productions

The governor Ricardo Quintela showed strong support for the national film industry and highlighted: “We are committed to positioning La Rioja as a province that bets on the national film industry and we want 2022 to be the year that will consolidate film productions in the province. We want to continue showing our people, who still preserve the essence of the people in terms of simplicity, affection, nobility, love and vocation of service that we have for all and all tourists and visitors”.

For her part, the director of the film, Sabrina Farji, was eloquent about his experience filming in the province “Without a doubt I would film again in La Rioja, I loved doing it and all the moments in which the landscapes of the province appear are magical. Punctually the winery Chañarmuyo, where we shot a good part of the film, it is fantastic, and I think that whoever sees the film will want to travel to know the province and of course those beautiful vineyards. We are really very grateful and happy and highlighted how important it is to continue filming, because where you put a camera there is work.O”.

The governor Ricardo Quintela met with executives of the “low cost” JetSmart to advance with the possibility of adding the province among the destinations offered by the airline.

In addition to the governor, the secretary of Tourism of La Rioja, José Rosa and the undersecretary of Tourism Development and Promotion, Dolores Suilar; While the commercial manager, Darío Ratinoff and the press manager, Fernando Guevara, participated on the part of the airline.

Both parties agreed to continue with the meetings in early 2022, and were optimistic about the efforts that began.
