What Cromañón, the new Prime Video series, is about
This drama series follows a group of teenage friends whose lives were altered by the real events surrounding the fire that occurred at the República Cromañón club in Buenos Aires in 2004. The story is told from the perspective of Malena (Olivia Nuss), a 19-year-old girl who dreams of becoming an artist, and is torn between her love for her boyfriend Lucas (José Giménez Zapiola) and her attraction to Lucas’s best friend, Nico (Toto Rovito). On the night of the fire, Malena attends the concert of her favorite rock band with her friends, not knowing that she will lose many of her loved ones at that event. Four years later, she returns to her childhood neighborhood to reconcile with the past and overcome the guilt she feels for still being alive.
