American thrash metal band Megadeth added a second date for April 14 at the Movistar Arena, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Crespo, after selling out seats in a few minutes for its announced show on April 13.
The group led by Dave Mustaine will return to Argentina as part of his world tour “Crush the World Tour” 30 years since his first visit, when the romance with the local public was born.
Argentine fans created a famous choir that cheers the band during the introduction of the classic “Symphony of Destruction”something that spread to other countries and still surprises Mustaine himself.
Megadeth’s current tour was boosted by the September 2022 release of the album “The Sick, The Dying…And Dead!”the first since 2016, published once Mustaine managed to overcome throat cancer diagnosed in 2019.
Megadeth was formed in 1983 in Los Angeles, California, at the urging of Mustaine, after his departure from Metallica, where he was the lead guitarist.
Throughout his extensive career, among other albums, “Killing Is My Business… and Business Is Good”, “So Far, So Good… So What”, “Rust in Peace”, “Countdown to Extinction”, “Cryptic Writings”, “Risk”, “Thirt3en” and “Super Collider”.

Tickets for Megadeth’s second date in Argentina are available on the stadium’s official website.
To purchase tickets, fans must be registered with an email and personal information. Prices range between $39,000 and $72,000 plus the cost of the service (Front Field $72,000; Back Field $55,000; Stalls from $39,000 to $70,000).
As they specified in their statement, they will also launch “Megadeth VIP packages, which include VIP Q&A, and meet and greets with the band members.”
