“I came to the conclusion that what makes me happy is feeling useful, doing whatever I can to help others improve. That’s why I like to define myself as a serial solver, since they consult me on various topics and I always look for a way to add value,” she highlights. The proposal of their project is to facilitate the development of women from a holistic approach, and create an ecosystem of support and trust so that they can undertake accompanied. “Connecting people and generating opportunities is also in my DNA! “I want entrepreneurs to learn to create healthy and sustainable businesses, that is why our pillars are training and networking,” stands out.
In this community of women that already has more than 200,000 followers – one of the largest in Latin America – Sheila, better known as Jay, It seeks to democratize quality education and promote a work culture, because it is convinced that the entrepreneurial spirit is the key to experiencing the freedom, prosperity and happiness that all women deserve.
Tireless doer, she has just edited her first book “Entrepreneur DNA”, published by Editorial El Ateneo, where it compiles advice, strategies, reflections and stories, aimed at female readers interested in starting their own path as entrepreneurs and achieving success.
Life change
Graduated as a textile and clothing designer from UADE, in 2007 and with a restless spirit, Sheila opened her first fashion store, Jay Sacher. Over time, she decided to put all her energies into the family business, which would be shared with her new life as a couple. In 2015 she married Lucas, her Brazilian husband, who is the commercial director of a technology company providing e-learning software. That year her first daughter, Naomi, was born and in 2017 Valentino arrived.
With a work routine of many hours, he traveled every day between La Plata and Buenos Aires. After becoming a mother, she no longer saw herself locked in an office. He was not satisfied with the routine of going back and forth between La Plata and Buenos Aires and “wasting” two hours traveling every day.
That is why when the opportunity to live abroad arose, he felt that his future was like a blank canvas and that he could choose, for the first time, what he really wanted for his life.
In 2019 he moved to Rio de Janeiro, dared to leave his comfort zone and reinvented himself. She expanded her knowledge by completing a master’s degree in Business Administration at EAE Business School in Spain. “I began to think about stopping offering products and starting to be my own product offering my knowledge, experience and business vision. I knew I had a lot to give, because I was always advising friends and acquaintances on how to adapt their businesses to the online world. I felt that causing those small/large transformations in the existence of women was the meaning of my life,” she points out.
Mentor for entrepreneurs
Jay’s passion is to create support networks for entrepreneurs in which women with similar interests, goals and values meet who can help each other but above all, feel accompanied and understood.
“Being a mentor is being a guide. I am that compass that accompanies women to guarantee that they reach their dream destination, the realization of their projects. It is a leadership role that is much more than simply sharing knowledge. My goal is to contribute to their professional development so they can achieve their goals. I am not only your role model but also your trusted advisor. I provide 100% personalized advice based on the needs of each entrepreneur,” she explains.
In this way, the entrepreneurial woman is empowered because she knows that she has the superpower to constantly reinvent herself and transform her life and that of everyone around her.
With his energy intact, Jay continues to passionately undertake, with many plans for 2024. “In addition to disseminating my book, I am working on a very powerful project, a reality show for entrepreneurs,” she advances enthusiastically. “I am very creative and I am lucky to love what I do, which is why I allow myself to make my most ambitious dreams come true.”
