A neighbor is said to have attacked Hollywood star Charlie Sheen in his home and was therefore arrested. No one was injured in the incident. It is not yet known how this happened, but this attack was apparently not the first.
US actor Charlie Sheen, 58, was physically attacked by a neighbor in Malibu, California, US media reported on Friday (local time), citing the police. The suspect was taken into custody on Wednesday on charges of assault, use of a deadly weapon and burglary, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office told People magazine.
The reason for the attack on Charlie Sheen is still unclear
According to the celebrity website TMZ, the attacker is a neighbor of the star. Accordingly, the 47-year-old broke into Sheen’s house and attacked him when he opened the door. “She allegedly ripped Charlie’s shirt and attempted to strangle him,” the report said. Accordingly, the 58-year-old was examined by rescue workers, but he was not taken to hospital.
According to TMZ, there have been previous arguments between the two neighbors. In previous incidents, a sticky liquid was said to have been sprayed on Sheen’s car. Nothing was officially known about the reason for this attack.
Sheen (“Platoon”, “Wall Street”), who is best known for the US sitcom “Two and a Half Men”, has often made headlines in the past for alcohol and drug excesses as well as custody disputes. The three-time divorced actor has five children.
