41,000 euros for eleven Upper Austria.  Art projects in digital space

A jury has now selected eleven projects from Upper Austria, which were supported with 410,000 euros, with the state and federal government each contributing half of the funding. In Upper Austria the financial injection is given to the following projects: Anna Sophia Rußmann’s artistic research project “Come in my arms”, “The Choir & The Sound System” of the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz, the Aura-Automated Radio of the Free Radio Freistadt and the Freier Rundfunk OÖ GmbH, Hannah Wimmer’s digitized dance performance “being both”, “Let’s go concert” from Hublz GmbH, the expansion of the Kupf Ticket from the culture platform KUPF Services GmbH, “Travel Thru Time” from the museums of the city of Linz, the OÖ Volkskultur App OÖ Folk Culture Forum, the Hybrid Space of the culture and dance initiative RedSapata and the Next Cloud Atelierhaus from Servus.at.

New ways for art and culture

“The Call 2021 is a new way to further develop art and culture, especially when it comes to the use of digital possibilities in times of the Corona crisis,” explains Governor Thomas Stelzer: “The diversity of the funded projects gives an insight into the breadth of culture and artistic life in the country, which receives new impulses through this funding line. ” The state of Upper Austria will “continue to support and accompany the cultural sector as best as possible”.

“I am particularly pleased with the range of projects recommended in Upper Austria, from museums to radio and art production, which we are promoting together with the state,” emphasizes State Secretary for Art and Culture Andrea Mayer.
