The traditional National Dressage and Folklore Festival begins in Jesús María

Los Nocheros, Raly Barrionuevo, Soledad, Los Tekis, Jorge Rojas, Los Palmeres, El Chaqueño Palavecino and KE Personajes are some of the artists of this edition.

Next Thursday the 4th the edition will begin 58th National Festival of Jesus Maryin the homonymous city in the north of Córdoba, which will last until January 15 with the National and International Jineteada Championship, as the main attraction, and an extensive grid of native music and dance artists, among them Los Nocheros, Raly Barrionuevo, Soledad, Los Tekis, Jorge Rojas, Los Palmeres, El Chaqueño Palavecino and KE Personajes.

On Thursday, starting at 8 p.m., the grounds of the José Hernández Amphitheater will be opened to begin the festival with a free day with a performance by, on the stage, Martín Fierro, Marina González, Alma Carpera, Soles y Lunas, Bruna Monte, Daiana Colamarino, Candela Mazza, Pocha Galván, Mery Murúa, Luz Paisio and Faustina Martino.

On Friday the 5th, the gaucho horseback riding competition will begin in the José Hernández dressage field, in addition to the display of troop, gaucho skill, while in the surroundings of the property there will be gastronomic proposals, clubs, craft fairs and regional products .

In dressage, the categories of clean crina, southern gurupa or Surera and coarse horses with countertops compete.

During the 12 days, the activities will begin at 8 p.m. in the festival complex that is located in Jesús María, in the Colón department and about 50 kilometers north of the local capital.

The festival has been held since 1966 and for the 2024 edition the artist proposals are as follows:

  • Friday the 5th: Los Nocheros, Juan Fuentes, Emiliano Zerbini, Saypa and Ulises Bueno.
  • Saturday 6: Raly Barrionuevo, Nahuel Penissi, Los Majestuosos del Chamamé, Belén Herrera, Daniel Campos, Aixa Figueroa and Damián Córdoba.
  • Sunday 7: Soledad Pastorutti, Sele Vera and Pampas de Bariloche, Orellana Lucca, Monchito Merlo, Facundo Toro, Del Monte, Christian Valle, Q’Lokura.
  • Monday 8: Los Tekis, La Beriso, Los Cabales, Jessica Benavídez, Los Tabaleros, Natalia Pastorutti and Cielo Tierra.
  • Tuesday 9: Ahyre, Destino San Javier, Pitín Zalazar, Roxana Carabajal, Pancho Figueroa, Los Fronterizos, Orejanos, Matías Valdéz, La Konga.
  • Wednesday 10: Cantores del Monte, Horacio Banegas, Los 4 de Córdoba, Al Fogón con Membriani, Loy Carrizo, Los Palmae and Dale Q’Va.
  • Thursday 11: Luciano Pereyra, Dúo Coplanacu, Las Voces de Orán, Los Duarte, Efraín Colombo, La Juana and Eugenia Quevedo and the LBC.
  • Friday the 12th: Los Palmeras, Los Manseros Santiagueños, Carabajales, Juanjo Abregú, Ana Rodríguez, Vale el Trago, Piko Frank and Marina Cornejo.
  • Saturday 13. Sergio Galleguillo, Jorge Rojas, Carlos Ramón Fernández, Paquito Ocaño, Agustín Fakelmann and His Conjunto, Gualicho and Sabroso.
  • Sunday 14: El Chaqueño Palavecino, Lucio Rojas, Lázaro Caballero, Christian Herrera and Tati Domínguez.
  • Monday 15: Ke Personajes, La Delio Valdez, Los Caligaris, Desakata2 and Magui Olave.

General admission costs $10,500; retirees and children between 5 and 11 years old $5,500 and can be purchased through the Paseshow.com.ar platform and at the amphitheater box office from Monday to Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the organization of the event reported.
