“Slow Horses”the successful Apple TV+ series starring Gary Oldman and based on the spy series of the same name by Mick Herronhas been renewed for a fifth season, as confirmed by the Variety portal.

Oldman, who recently earned a Golden Globe award for his performance on the show as the irascible Jackson Lamb, will return alongside Kristin Thomaswho plays Diana Taverner, MI5’s second desk officer, Jack Lowden as spy nepo baby River Cartwright and Christopher Chung as cocky geek Roddy Ho.

The fifth season will be an adaptation of the fifth book in Herron’s series, “London Rules”. The director is yet to be confirmed.
