In an interview with Rolling Stone Fernando Dachdje said: “the idea was born by chance, at some point in 2017, when the photographer went to Carrizo’s studio and, while they were doing a photo shoot, he asked the drummer if he could film the stories I told him.”
“What started as the recording of a couple of anecdotes continued with Martín taking a tour of his history as a musician, from when he had the first drum kit until that moment, when he was preparing the Indio Solari show in Olavarría,” explained Dachdje. , co-director with his brother Diego of the documentary.
Indio Solari, Andrés Giménez, Richard Coleman, Walter Sidoti, Lito Vitale, Déborah Dixon, Sergio Colombo and Fernando Nalé They are some of the musicians who contributed their testimonies throughout the 90-minute duration and three years of process that the project demanded.
“We did it with very few resources, supported by us, from the friendship, unity and love we felt for Martín, and with the help of the Cerati family, Alejandro Taranto (producer and manager) and Sebastián Arena (sound engineer) . But that did not interfere with the production, which for me was perfect and very well done,” details one of the directors of the documentary.
