Jeffrey Epstein: “Massage” became a code word, according to witnesses

Anyone who reads the newly released Epstein-Maxwell files will get a good idea of the crimes the two committed together. The word massage plays a big role here.

943 pages – anyone interested in the allegations against the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his imprisoned accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell will have to read through a mountain of documents these days. The recently published documents are witness interviews and other legal documents from a civil dispute (2015) between the American Virginia Giuffre and Maxwell, which were previously encrypted. And anyone who looks through the documents might suspect that Jeffrey Epstein suffered from chronic tension.

Jeffrey Epstein and the massages

The word “massage” is used a total of 521 times in the documents. In order to understand what the massages are all about, the sworn statement of police officer Joseph Recarey is of great relevance. He was involved in the Epstein investigation before his first arrest in the late 2000s and said he spoke to more than 30 girls who said they had been hired for massages by Ghislaine Maxwell.

Virginia Giuffre also explained in a witness interview in 2016 that massages in Epstein’s environment meant something different than a medical or wellness activity. “I was instructed by Ghislaine to give him an erotic massage,” she said, referring to a friend of Epstein’s whose name she could no longer remember. “Did she use the words erotic massage?” a lawyer asked during questioning. “No, that’s my word. The word massage is what they would use. That’s their code word,” Giuffre explained.

Johanna Sjoberg, a witness who also incriminated Prince Andrew, also explained in her interrogation what the massages were all about. She said she was approached by Ghislaine Maxwell on her college campus. Maxwell asked her if she wanted to earn money.

Three massages a day

After she was hired to do various housework, she was taught how Epstein wanted to be massaged. She also stated that Epstein received an average of three massages a day – always performed by young women, who were often naked. Sjoberg’s statements also make it clear that these were not simple massages. “He [Epstein] explained to me that he thought he should have three orgasms a day. “It’s organic, like food,” she recalled in her interview. She also said that she was once accused of “not finishing” her job because Epstein didn’t have an orgasm.

Epstein’s close confidant, the British woman Ghislaine Maxwell, was found guilty of human trafficking of minors for the purposes of abuse at the end of 2021 and sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022. Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide in prison in 2019.
