The German actress Hannah Herzsprung receives the Bavarian Film Prize for best actress. She will receive the 10,000 euro award on January 19th for her role in the film “15 Years,” which will be released in local cinemas on Friday. The jury’s statement states: “Delicate and delicate at first glance, Hannah Herzsprung develops a radical anger and force in front of the camera that sometimes thrills the audience, sometimes shocks them, but will definitely remain in their memory forever.” Herzsprung already received the award in 2007 for her role in “4 Minutes” in the “best young female talent” category.
Two Austrian filmmakers have hopes of winning the title of best film: Adrian Goiginger’s comedy “Rickerl” and Barbara Albert’s literary adaptation “Die Mittagsfrau”. They’re competing with the Milli Vanilli biopic “Girl You Know It’s True.”
