Nick Cannon mourns the loss of his youngest son, Zen. The American rapper, actor and presenter reported in tears about the loss on his own talk show on Tuesday. At the weekend he held Zen, who was only five months old, for the last time. He and his girlfriend Alyssa Scott drove him to the sea after Zen’s condition deteriorated dramatically. The little one suffered from a brain tumor.

“He breathed differently and when he was two months old I noticed that his head got a really big head. I called it a cannon head, we didn’t think anything of it. (..) But I wanted to Have a doctor check his breathing and a cold. We thought it was just a routine examination, “says the 41-year-old.

Zen was operated on and Cannon and Scott were initially hopeful, because the little one had continued to play normally with his siblings. But then the tumor suddenly grew much faster. “Zen mother Alyssa was the strongest woman I have ever seen. Never angry, there was no argument. She was emotional when it came down to it, but always the best mother and she continues to be,” says Cannon of his girlfriend.
