War, torture and cruelty don’t get people anywhere: “All you need is love” is how the Beatles put it in their well-known song. US actress Anne Hathaway agrees.
Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway has invoked the power of love. “The term romance describes it too narrowly,” the 41-year-old told the newspapers of the Funke media group. “Fundamentally, we need more love, and romance is only one aspect of that. We need more kindness, compassion and kindness.” She once heard the question whether love is overrated. “And all I can say is: it is underestimated. We have tried war, torture and cruelty. But have we really tried love in our story?”
The Oscar winner (“Les Misérables”) said the Beatles put it perfectly with “All you need is love.” “This wisdom has been available to us for thousands of years.”
