Actor Lucas Gregorowicz (“Polizeiruf 110”) says he feels like a different person when he speaks Polish. “The language makes a big difference,” he said in an interview with the magazine “Bunte”. “I’m a slightly different person in Polish.” The 47-year-old is the son of Polish parents. “It’s my romanticized home with a good childhood,” said the actor.
Gregorowicz also plays a Polish investigator in the new ARD series “Oderbruch”, which starts on January 19th on Erste. Together with his German colleagues, he investigates mysterious serial murders in the Oderbruch, the most sparsely populated region in Germany.
The 47-year-old has recently been in a relationship with actress Anna Maria bother (“Our Wonderful Years”). Everything still feels fresh, the actor said in the interview. “Anna and I have known each other for a long time.” When asked whether he still believed in marriage, he referred to the relationships in his family: “My parents have been married for 48 years now, my grandparents were married until their death. Of course I believe in it. In marriage and of love anyway.”
