Cosquín Festival: there was an agreement and Public Television will broadcast the event

The 64th edition of Cosquín National Folklore Festivalwhich will begin on Saturday and run until January 28, will finally be televised by the Public TV.

“We have reached an agreement after several back and forths,” said the mayor of Cosquín, Raúl Cardinalli.

The conflict had broken out due to the announcement by the Public TV authorities not to invest in the generation of the source signal. However, according to Cardinali, “a little was given on both sides”.

What will the Cosquín Festival grid be like?

The opening of the Festival will take place on Saturday with a program that will include Las Voces de Orán, Franco Luciani, Horacio Banegas, Victoria Birchner, Ariel Ardit, The Santiagueños ManserosFlor Paz and Sergio Galleguillo.

On Sunday, January 21, the second moon will take place, with the performance of Coplanacu DuoYamila Cafrune, Postcards from Provinces: Córdoba, Algarroba.com, Suna Rocha, Nahuel PennisiMarina Cornejo, the malambo group that won the Pre Cosquín 2024, Destino San Javier -consecration of Cosquín in 2023-, and El Indio Lucio Rojas.

The billboard of La quinta luna, scheduled for Wednesday, January 24, includes Los 4 de Córdoba-55 Años con Amigos, Sebastián Ruiz, Por Siempre Tucu, Sergio Fasoli -revelation at Cosquín 2023-, Sofía Assis, José Luis Aguirre, the vocal ensemble and the stylized dance couple that emerge from Pre Cosquín, Lucrecia Rodrigo, The Carabajal and the “20 Years” Junta.
