He is currently one of the most sought-after actors in Germany: Emilio Sakraya. He reached his limits for his role in the new Netflix film “60 Minutes”.
Actor Emilio Sakraya (27) can’t really get going without exercise. “It’s just a given for me: I get up in the morning and have to move,” Sakraya told dpa. “If I don’t do my one or two hours of exercise in the morning, I’m not as awake, fit and happy all day.”
The Berlin-born actor, who lives in Munich, pushed his physical limits for his role as a martial artist in the Netflix film “60 Minutes.” “At some point you’re tired, it’s cold, it’s a night shoot, your body is crazy after 30 days of shooting and then you have to get that kick – and you just can’t get your leg up.”
Sakraya (“Rheingold”, “Bibi and Tina”), who practiced martial arts as a child, is currently in top physical shape, no longer drinks alcohol and tries to stop smoking. “The next challenge is to cut out industrial sugar, but that’s damn hard. I love donuts, chocolate and gummy bears too much for that.”
