Rene Esterbauer will probably take over the role of commercial manager from March. He has previously worked in the private sector, where he started at Red Bull after studying sports, culture and event management. There, as event manager, he was responsible, among other things, for marketing for the first Red Bull Grand Prix in Spielberg and organized major events with international music bands. He later moved to KTM Motohall GmbH as managing director. He comes from Helpfau-Uttendorf.
Esterbauer has “convinced with a dynamic and professional appearance in the hearing,” said Mayor Klaus Luger (SP). As part of the Linz corporate group, LIVA includes, among others, the Brucknerhaus, the Posthof and the children’s cultural center “Kuddelmuddel”. The artistic director is Dietmar Kerschbaum. A total of eleven candidates applied for the position of managing director.
