Apple gave a new preview of “Messi’s World Cup: the rise of the legend”

The streaming platform released a new preview of the documentary series that will premiere on February 21 about the Argentine star’s journey in the World Cup.

It’s been a little over a year since Lionel Messi and the Argentine National Team won the title of Qatar World Cup 2022 after beating France in a historic final that will be remembered as one of the best in the history of the World Cups.

As part of this achievement for Lionel Messi, Apple TV+ recently announced that it would premiere a new documentary series called “Messi’s World Cup: the rise of the legend”which will recount the journey of the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner in the World Cups.

Now just over a month before the launch of this new production through Apple TV+, the official and complete trailer for this new documentary series was released, which will premiere next February.

How many episodes will the series about Messi have and when is it officially launched on Apple TV?

The series will consist of four parts, all of which will be released in their entirety on February 21, the day Messi and Inter Miami begin their journey in the MLS against Real Salt Lake. These 4 episodes will recount Messi’s beginnings with the Albiceleste in the World Cup, going through the 2014 defeat against Germany to the celebration of the title at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Soccer enthusiasts from more than 100 countries will also be able to watch Messi in action playing for Inter Miami CF in the MLS during the 2024 season through MLS Season Pass, Apple’s subscription service, and Major League Soccer in the app. Apple TV+. This launch means further expanding the reach of the Argentine star and his legacy within the sport to a global audience.
