“It doesn’t work without a dog,” says the actor. And Devid Striesow also has a soft spot for classical music.
Actor Devid Striesow describes himself as a “dog person”. “It doesn’t work without a dog,” said the 50-year-old to the private radio station Hit Radio FFH in Bad Vilbel. Another love is classical music: he started playing the violin at the age of six.
However, he said that being a musician wasn’t a career for him: “It was definitely not enough to earn a living with it.” Especially since it was “horrible” for him to stand up and play something on the violin because of his stage fright.
Striesow was born on Rügen. He likes to return to the island. “The north beach up on the Cape is simply great. With a dog, without a dog, with swimming trunks, without swimming trunks.” Cold water doesn’t scare him.
