“Tatort” star Jan Josef Liefers revealed at the German Film Ball whether he could imagine saying goodbye to forensic doctor Boerne.
The Münster “crime scene” without Professor Boerne? Hard to imagine for many fans. “But one day it will also be time for us,” said Jan Josef Liefers (59) on Saturday evening (January 20th) on the red carpet of the 48th German Film Ball in Munich. “The day will come when we stop – either of our own accord or because we are stopped,” said the actor, referring to the upcoming “Tatort” exit from Munich commissioners Batic and Leitmayr.
If Liefers has his way, this shouldn’t happen too soon: “The Münster ‘crime scene’ will definitely be around for a few more years,” he assures.
Glamorous appearance with wife Anna Loos
Actually, this special evening wasn’t supposed to be about work, but rather about celebrating: “It’s just one of those traditions that never ends. The film is celebrated here, the industry celebrates itself. I’m always happy to see it Meeting colleagues I haven’t seen for a long time,” said Liefers.
Together with his wife Anna Loos (53), the actor made a particularly glamorous appearance: he came in a classic tuxedo, she in a glittering gold sequin dress. A highlight for both of them is dancing: “My shoes are made for dancing,” Liefers explained. “Mine too! And if not, I’ll just take them off,” added Anna Loos. And the two of them immediately showed how well they can do it: Even before the first course was served in the ballroom of the Bayerischer Hof, the actor couple conquered the dance floor – for a moment the dance floor belonged only to them.
Jan Josef Liefers was particularly looking forward to “the time when the cameras have to leave the hall and the real party starts.” Beforehand you have to “always behave well”. Later, however, “everything is allowed,” says Liefers.
