“Oppenheimer” is in the running in practically all of the central categories: Cillian Murphy is nominated as the leading actor, director Nolan is among the filmmakers, Emily Blunt and Robert Downey Jr. are on board in the supporting actor categories and of course the work also ranks well in the Premier category Best Film with.

“Poor Things” also brought Lanthimos a nomination in the directing category, Emma Stone the chance to win the lead actress, Mark Ruffalo a nomination in the supporting actor category and here too the ticket for the Best Film section. Old master Martin Scorsese follows the other places in the field with his monumental “Killers of the Flower Moon”, which has a chance in 10 categories.
