- 4 cups cassava starch.
- 1 cup of milk.
- 50 gr of butter.
- 1 cup warm water.
- 1 cup olive oil.
- pinch of salt.
- 4 eggs.
- 2 – 3 cups grated cheese to gratin.

How to prepare pão de queijo, step by step
In a saucepan, heat the milkthe butter and salt until it boils. Then remove from heat.
Add the cassava starch to the hot mixture, stirring vigorously until you obtain a homogeneous mass.
Let the dough rest and cool a little.
Add the eggsone at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add the grated cheese to the doughmaking sure it is distributed evenly.
With the help of two spoons, form dough balls and put them in the mold.
Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes or until the Pães de Queijo are golden.
