The Götzes have been a foursome for a few months. She now reveals how different everyday life is for Ann-Kathrin Götze with her second baby.
Last October, soccer star Mario Götze (31) and his wife Ann-Kathrin (34) became parents for the second time. After son Rome (4), his little sister Gioia joined the family. In one, Ann-Kathrin Götze now talks about how she apparently experiences the first months after Gioia’s birth very differently than with Rome.
When asked by a follower about her journey after the birth of Gioia, the model answers: “Which journey exactly? I think with the second child you just get back to everyday life much quicker and you enjoy it more because you knows what to do and what to expect.” But you also know how quickly time passes.
Little Gioia could also have been called Isabella
Götze also shares which names were available for baby number two. “Soooo names that I also loved very much and won’t use: Isabella, Alessandra, Yael, Eden, Ava, Bruna,” writes the 34-year-old. She also suggests which names might have been in the room for the couple’s son. When asked about inspiration for boy names, Götze replies: “Okay, while we’re at it: Bruno, Carlo, Abel.”
Eintracht Frankfurt, Mario Götze’s club, made it public in October that the professional footballer was not in the squad because the Götzes had become parents again. The club also revealed that the couple had a girl. A little later, Mario and Ann-Kathrin Götze had their first family photos with Rome and Gioia – and not only revealed their daughter’s name, but also confirmed that the girl was born on October 20th.
