When is an Easter holiday
The most important Catholic holiday of the year will begin on March 24 with Palm Sunday and will culminate on March 31 with Easter. In addition, this year Easter will be coupled with the holiday of April 2, the day of commemoration of those who fell in the Falklands War, by introducing a bridge holiday on April 1.
For those who do not have to work on Holy Thursday, which is a non-working day, there will be six days of rest in a row: March 28 (Holy Thursday non-working day), March 29 (Good Friday holiday), March 30 (Holy Saturday or Glory Saturday), March 31 (Easter Sunday, Easter Sunday), April 1 (holiday) bridge for tourist purposes) and April 2 (Veteran’s Day and those who fell in the Malvinas War).
The measure was made official this Friday, December 29, through the publication of decree 106/2023 in the Official Gazette. The text bore the signatures of President Javier Milei, the Chief of Staff, Nicolás Posse, and the Minister of the Interior, Guillermo Francos.
