King Harald has recently suffered from several illnesses – now the 86-year-old is out again.
The Norwegian King Harald V (86) is ill again. The monarch is on sick leave until Friday due to a respiratory infection, the Norwegian royal family announced. In the meantime, his son Crown Prince Haakon (50) will take over the appointments that are on the king’s program. This week this mainly includes audiences and the weekly meeting with the government on Friday.
Harald has suffered from several illnesses in recent years. He was last out for a few days last October due to a corona infection. The 86-year-old has been Norway’s head of state for 33 years.
