The British pop singer Adele is coming to Munich in the summer: On August 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th, the 35-year-old will give four concerts at the exhibition center in the Riem district, where her own pop-up stadium has been built for her becomes. There is space for 80,000 spectators. The stadium will have a diameter of 300 meters and will be equipped with seating and standing areas. It is “a unique, tailor-made pop-up stadium, exactly for the show I want to present,” writes Adele on Instagram.
The four dates will be the singer’s only concerts in Europe this year. She will be performing at the Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas until June. She was last seen live on mainland Europe in 2016. The pop-up stadium is being designed by Munich-based Florian Wieder, who also created the stages for major concerts by Robbie Williams and Andreas Gabalier. In 2015, Wieder was responsible for the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.

By the way, the deal was arranged by an Austrian: the Graz concert promoter Klaus Leutgeb, who had already organized shows with stars like Helene Fischer, brought the singer to Bavaria’s capital with his colleague Marek Lieberberg.
