Catherine O’Hara joined the cast of season 2 of The Last Of Us. HBO He didn’t give many details, only confirming that he will guest star in an “undisclosed role.”
This news will kick off the release of season 2’s guest stars, which could include some bigger names, considering season 1 featured Nick Offerman, Melanie Lynksey and Storm Reid among its guest stars.
O’Hara is the first guest star to be announced after HBO made several major additions to the cast for the second installment of the post-apocalyptic drama based on the video game of the same name developed by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation. HBO recently cast Kaitlyn Dever Like Abby, Isabella Merced like Dina and Young Mazino Like Jesse.

Season 2 will be filmed in Vancouver, as a major part of the story of The Last of Us Part II video game takes place in the Pacific Northwest. Production on the series, a co-production between HBO and Sony Pictures Television, will begin in February.
The Last of Us is written and produced by Mazin and Druckmann. Carolyn Strauss, Evan Wells, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan and Rose Lam also serve as executive producers.
