The World Tourism Organization recognized it as one of the 10 most beautiful rural towns in the world.

Caspalá is located in a small valley surrounded by hills 4 thousand meters high, 245 kilometers from San Salvador (the capital of Jujuy), 100 kilometers from San Francisco (in the yungas), and 115 kilometers from the town of Humahuaca (in the ravine).

What can I do in Caspala

Just because it is a small destination does not mean that there are few activities to do in Caspalá. The main ones are:

How to get to Caspala

For get from San Salvador de Jujuy to Caspalá you have to take the National Route No. 9, to the city of Humahuaca, From there you must take the junction of provincial route N°73 until you reach Caspalá.

Arriving at Caspalá, you have to cross two snail-shaped slopes.
