Many a cabaret artist is currently working on the traffic light government. Not so Bernd Stelter. He also has a reason for this.
Comedian Bernd Stelter isn’t making any jokes about the traffic lights during his appearances at Cologne carnival sessions this year. “I announced in this session: I’m not talking about the traffic lights. I’m leaving the traffic lights out. But that’s a big laugh,” Stelter told the German Press Agency. On the one hand, one could argue that the coalition of SPD, FDP and Greens is currently too easy a victim, and then it won’t be much fun anymore.
Above all, the traffic light defects are already being debated endlessly on every talk show. “And that’s my attitude: Now let’s do a fifth season here and not talk about it. And people are very, very grateful for that.” Stelter (62) is celebrating his 35th stage anniversary this carnival season – or session, as the carnivalist says.
