Taylor Swift has won her fourth Grammy in the Album of the Year category – and made history. Football player Travis Kelce has now also promised his girlfriend a trophy.
NFL professional Travis Kelce (34) is proud of his girlfriend, singer Taylor Swift (34), who made history with her Grammy win for best album of the year. “She’s incredible,” said football professional Kelce in Las Vegas, where he and his Kansas City Chiefs will play in the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday (local time). “She’s rewriting the history books.”
Looking ahead to the upcoming Super Bowl, the football star said of Swift: “I told her I had to keep my end of the bargain and come home with a trophy too.”
Swift won her fourth Grammy in the main Album of the Year category for her record “Midnights” on Sunday evening (local time). She passed Paul Simon, Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder, who each received three awards in the category.
That same evening, Swift announced her new album “The Tortured Poets Department” will be released on April 19th. Kelce said of the album: “I’ve heard a lot about it and it’s incredible. I can’t wait for her to shake up the world when it finally comes out.”
