Shortly before filming begins, Margot Robbie regularly has doubts. The successful actress and producer says she suffers a “nervous breakdown” when she makes all the films.
Hollywood actress Margot Robbie (33) says she had to overcome a crisis before filming the “Barbie” film began. “The panic was palpable and paralyzing,” the Australian told the Los Angeles Times.
Even in her role as producer for the film, Robbie said she spent years “getting this film together.” “And all of a sudden we started shooting it. And I thought, ‘Oh, my God, I don’t know how I’m going to do this.'”
Robbie reported that she suffered a “nervous breakdown” shortly before filming began on all films, during which she suddenly no longer believed in her acting abilities. She then thinks that “everyone will suddenly realize” that she can’t do anything, “and it will be terrible,” she said. During her crisis, she visited director Greta Gerwig, who took away her fears and helped her find her way into her role as Barbie.
The film “Barbie” became a global success last year and received, among other things, eight Oscar nominations.
