King Charles III  has cancer: Prince Harry landed in London

Prince Harry is back in Britain. After his father, King Charles III, was diagnosed with cancer, the 39-year-old flew to London to be with his family. Wife Meghan was not there.

Prince Harry has arrived in Britain following his father, King Charles III’s, cancer diagnosis. As the Sun reported, among others, Harry landed at London Heathrow Airport on Tuesday afternoon. According to the report, he was on board a British Airways plane. Pictures showed black SUVs with police escorts on the airport grounds. The cars drove to Clarence House, the home of Charles and his wife Camilla. Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were spotted there in the morning, apparently paying a visit to the king.

With King Charles III. was diagnosed with cancer

The palace surprisingly announced on Monday evening that King Charles III. is suffering from cancer. The 75-year-old monarch was recently treated in a London hospital for an enlarged prostate. During the examination he was diagnosed with “a form of cancer”. It is not known what type of cancer it is. The palace simply did not say that it was not prostate cancer.

King Charles III informed his family over the phone

King Charles III is said to have personally delivered the news of his illness to his sons William and Harry and his siblings over the telephone. Prince Harry apparently immediately booked a flight from Los Angeles to London to be with his father.

The relationship between Harry and Charles and other royals is considered to be broken. The king’s younger son and his wife, Duchess Meghan, broke away from the inner circle of the royal family four years ago. They now live in the US state of California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Meghan and the children did not travel to Great Britain.
