Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach (SPD) appeared on the red carpet with his new girlfriend on the opening night of the Berlinale.
Elisabeth Niejahr, managing director for the “Strengthening Democracy” department of the non-profit Hertie Foundation, temporarily clasped Lauterbach’s hand with both hands as they stood in front of the photographers on Thursday evening. She wore a long-sleeved red dress and he also looked colorful under the dark suit.
The 60-year-old told “Bild am Sonntag” in January: “I’m glad that Elisabeth Niejahr is in my life.” The drama “Small Things Like These” was shown on the opening night of the 74th Berlinale.
