Each February 20th is celebrated on International Cat Day in commemoration of the death of presidential cat Socks Clintona relative of former president of the United States Bill Clinton, who was president from 1993 to 2001. In the 90s (influencers did not yet exist), Socks was very famous for being the only feline in American history to wander around the White House, including sneaking into the president’s public events and appearing in the presidential chamber during press events. - They don’t take up space: They fit wherever you live and with a couple of shelves you can create an atmosphere “catified” where they feel happy.
- They don’t need you to take them for a walk (although I have seen several who walk on a leash, they are exceptions).
- They’re a excellent excuse for when you don’t want to go somewhere: “I can’t, I have to take care of my cat.”
