Diego Pooth (20), the eldest son of Verona (55) and Franjo Pooth (54), continues to get started as a model. He has landed a new big job: At Milan Fashion Week, the Cologne native will walk the catwalk for fashion designer Philipp Plein (46).
Milan Fashion Week takes place from February 20th to 26th in the northern Italian fashion metropolis. And Verona Pooth will be there for his catwalk appearance. “I think I’m going to have a heart attack because of joy and excitement,” she told RTL.
20-year-old Diego has been working as a fashion model alongside his studies for a long time and earns some extra money. The student has also been under contract with the renowned agency Elite for a year. Mama Verona isn’t surprised. “I think he’s very laid back and he’s so down to earth. A great boy.”

During the corona pandemic, Diego Pooth moved to Florida in 2021 to become a professional golfer. . Two years later he graduated from the elite sports academy “IMG”. The next step is to return to Germany, where he will continue his studies in Berlin. “He’s doing his own thing. I’m just excited as a mother and will of course follow this with a big heart,” says Verona Pooth proudly.
Diego Pooth comes from the marriage of entertainer Verona and entrepreneur Franjo Pooth. The two have been a couple since 2000 and will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary on May 18th. Their first son, San Diego, was born in September 2003, followed by his brother Rocco Ernesto in June 2011.
