Trial begins against master-at-arms: Alec Baldwin is “more than grateful” to his wife

The trial against the weapons master from the film set “Rust” begins today. Not an easy time for Alec Baldwin either. But Hilaria Baldwin is there for her husband. He posts loving words on their 13th anniversary.

It’s currently a difficult time for Hollywood star Alec Baldwin. Since the fatal shooting on the set of his western film “Rust”, in which camerawoman Halyna Hutchins (1979-2021) was killed in 2021, the actor has been confronted with serious allegations – including several charges, including negligent homicide. This Wednesday, 27-year-old gun master Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who is accused of negligent homicide, will go on trial. She has to answer before the court in Santa Fe (US state of New Mexico). She is also accused of tampering with evidence.

An event that certainly left its mark on Baldwin. One person who has always stuck by him since then is his wife Hilaria Baldwin. He has now dedicated a declaration of love to his loved one on Instagram on the occasion of their 13th anniversary.

They met 13 years ago in New York

The two met for the first time on February 18, 2011, in a restaurant on Irving Place Street in New York City. At the time, Baldwin was out with a friend. “And who do I find there? I am more than grateful to you for everything,” he wrote to the yoga teacher and author.

The actor also shared a photo from their wedding in the church, which was on June 30th. “Not my wedding day, but one of my favorite photos,” Baldwin said.

Hilaria Baldwin commented on the post with two heart emojis and also posted a few loving words herself. wrote the mother of seven: “Met you 13 years ago today, Alec Baldwin. What a journey we’ve been on.”

The two have been married since 2012. The Baldwins have seven children together. Alec Baldwin’s eldest daughter, model Ireland Baldwin, became a mother herself in 2023. She comes from her marriage to actress Kim Basinger, which divorced in 2002.

“Rust” has finished filming

At the beginning of February 2024, Alec Baldwin pleaded not guilty in a new trial for involuntary manslaughter in connection with the fatal shooting on the “Rust” set. He hopes for a speedy process. His film “Rust,” in which Baldwin acts and produces, has been finished filming since May 2023. It is not yet known when exactly the film will be released in cinemas.
