Helene Fischer: She is auctioning off a signed portrait

A large spray-painted portrait of Helene Fischer is intended to raise as much money as possible for a good cause. It is now up for auction.

Helene Fischer (39) is now auctioning off a portrait she signed that was made by the artist Sebastian Mevissen. The proceeds go to the “Aktion Kinderträume”. The aid organization fulfills the wishes of children and young people nationwide who suffer from disabilities, illnesses or traumatic events. It is not Fischer’s first auction for a good cause.

Sprayed image in the style of the “Rausch” cover

The special work of art can be auctioned off for a good cause for 28 days. The sprayed portrait is based on the cover of Helene Fischer’s latest album “Rausch”, which was released in October 2021. The pop singer signed the picture herself.

If you are interested in details: Behind the portrait there is a large, manually pull-out vinyl plate that is 1.40 by two meters in size. The neon fluorescent font used is intended to achieve a special effect under black light. The work of art, which was created last year, weighs almost 20 kilos.

Singer is thrilled with the result

Helene Fischer was delighted with “this wonderful portrait”. She called for the “support and attention” of her fans: “Let’s do something good together and hand over this unique work of art to a happy new owner.”

The singer and the artist can be seen together in a video on the auction platform’s website. When he showed her the portrait, she praised: “Wow. Nice work.” Then Helene Fischer set about “immortalizing” herself on it. Just a few hours after the auction started, the highest bid was more than 3,000 euros – that is likely to rise significantly in the coming weeks.

Award reaches 5,200 euros

Last summer, Helene Fischer started a campaign through United Charity and auctioned off her pay-out award for five sold-out concerts in the Rudolf Weber Arena Oberhausen. This raised 5,200 euros for a children’s hospital in Zaporizhia, Ukraine. The deluxe edition of a double CD “Rausch” is currently being auctioned – with her signature on the cover. The proceeds from this go to Fanhilfe eV, which wants to give children a little joy through donations in kind.
