No Angels singer Lucy Diakovska has a heart for very old dogs that no one wants. Now she lost two of her favorites in a short space of time.
Singer and jungle queen Lucy Diakovska is hit hard by the death of two of her dogs. “They were both old,” said the 47-year-old in an RTL article published on Wednesday, in which she visibly struggled for words. The organs of both animals had failed. “And I wasn’t there,” reported the singer.
According to RTL, a pit bull attacked the musician shortly before the start of the show “I’m a star – get me out of here!” – who Lucy later left as the winner and therefore jungle queen – had to be put down. At that time, the 47-year-old was already in Australia, where the show is being produced.
Shortly after the show, a dog that lived with Lucy’s aunt also died. Unfortunately, the musician from the pop band No Angels (“Daylight In Your Eyes”) did not arrive in time for the funeral.
“I often just took in older dogs because almost no one takes older dogs,” reported Lucy. “And that’s just what happens after a very quick and very intense time.”
The singer is considered to be very fond of animals. After her victory in the RTL jungle camp, she announced that she would donate part of the 100,000 euro winnings to an association that works with animals. She had already taken part in the RTL show “Top Dog Germany – The Best Dog in Germany” with her dog Jerry.
