Katja Bienert, 55, lost her husband three weeks ago. Donald Gardner died of a heart attack at the age of 66. As the actress, who became known among other things for the doctor series “Praxis Bülowbogen”, now reveals in one, she said goodbye to her deceased husband in a very unconventional way.
“Don was breathing badly in the morning. I wanted to take him to the hospital, but he didn’t want to. He drank an apple juice, I brought the glass into the kitchen. When I came back, Don was no longer breathing,” says Bienert.

The actress called the emergency doctor, who only found her husband’s death. According to “Bild”, Bienert then asked to leave her husband with her in the apartment. “I lay next to my dead husband for eight hours, stroking and kissing him.
