Oliver Pocher is stressed: He is currently on vacation with Alessandra Meyer-Wölden with seven children. This doesn’t leave him unscathed.
Oliver Pocher (46) is currently being presented with the concentrated load of his patchwork life. The comedian and his two children from his marriage to Amira Pocher (31) are currently visiting ex-wife Alessandra Meyer-Wölden (40), who lives in Miami in the US state of Florida. Pocher has a daughter and twin sons with Sandy. The 40-year-old also had twins in her second marriage. The two talk in detail about current events with a total of seven children on site in the current episode of their Podimo podcast “The Pochers! Freshly recycled”.
“There’s a lot going on. I’ve reached my limits this week and am on the verge of a nervous breakdown,” Meyer-Wölden admits frankly. It is very challenging. Pocher finds the patchwork existence similarly stressful: “It’s a task.” Even the flight to the USA was very tiring. Sandy recovered in business class, while Pocher sat in economy class with the children: “I didn’t even sleep in almost ten hours.”
This is how Oliver Pocher thinks about the criticism of his family post
So far, Pocher and his children have had an exciting but also strict program in Florida. The family was already in the Everglades and watched alligators there. A visit to Universal Studios was also on the list. Apparently, Oliver Pocher’s workload isn’t entirely leaving its mark on Oliver Pocher: “You have black circles under your eyes and slept maybe three hours on average,” says Meyer-Wölden in a somewhat unflattering way to her ex-husband’s face. Despite all their efforts, the two of course also appreciate their privilege: many other children would not be able to experience the kind of things their children would see in just a few days in their entire lives.
For his birthday on February 18th, Pocher posted a photo with his five children in the USA. Although the children were either only visible from behind or were made unrecognizable, there was also criticism. The accusation: He would instrumentalize his children. Pocher now defended himself decisively. On the one hand, he still doesn’t show his children’s faces. The really important thing, however, is that you don’t market your offspring. He would completely reject that: “We won’t do that.” He only posts very rarely and extremely selected pictures of his children from highlight events that are personally important to him.
