“Wouldn’t protect him”: Donald Trump rails against Prince Harry

Former US President Donald Trump lashed out at the royal in the discussion about Prince Harry’s visa application.

Donald Trump (77) has raged against a royal. The Republican presidential candidate and former US president said he was angry at the government of Joe Biden (81) because it was “protecting” Prince Harry (39) by rejecting his visa application keep secret.

A US court is currently considering the question of whether the US government must release it. The conservative think tank Heritage Foundation is calling for this because Prince Harry talks about his past drug use in his memoirs, raising the question of why he was allowed to enter the States in 2020. “I wouldn’t protect him,” Trump said in the interview, apparently referring to his attitude toward Harry in his possible second term as US president. “He betrayed the Queen. That is unforgivable. If I had my way, he would be on his own.”

Away from the visa discussion, Harry recently revealed that he had been “thinking about” becoming a US citizen. “American citizenship is a thought that has crossed my mind, but certainly not something that is a high priority for me at the moment,” said the 39-year-old.

Taunts against the Sussexes

Donald Trump has often teased the Sussexes, who broke away from the royal family in 2020 and moved to the USA. He said about Prince Harry’s wife Duchess Meghan (42) last September:

“I didn’t like the way she treated the Queen.” He added: “I became friends with the Queen. At 95, she was an incredible woman. She was so perceptive. She was there 100 per cent.” Apparently about Meghan and Harry, he then said: “But they treated them with great disrespect and I didn’t like that.”

The former US President wants to run again for the Republicans in the US election in 2024. The presidential election will take place on November 5th.
