Singer Kylie Minogue is enjoying her single life and she could have even “done without some romances,” she reveals in an interview.
Australian singer Kylie Minogue (55) is enjoying her single life to the fullest. A few days before her performance at this year’s Brit Awards, the two-time Grammy winner reveals that she doesn’t just feel “liberated.” The pop star also looks back critically on some liaisons.
“There are some romances that I perhaps could have done without,” Minogue reveals in an interview with the British tabloid. “But that’s part of what makes us human.” She is now “single and enjoying this freedom”. Minogue does have one piece of advice when it comes to love: “Don’t be afraid.” It was “definitely” her.

Kylie Minogue has had several failed relationships: From 1984 to 1989, the singer was in a relationship with her co-star Jason Donovan (55) from the Australian television series “Neighbours”. Shortly afterwards, the singer entered into a relationship with the Australian singer Michael Hutchence (1960-1997), which lasted until 1991. After a three-year relationship with the British model James Gooding (49), they separated in 2003. Only a short time later, the singer was spotted with French actor Olivier Martinez (58), and the relationship lasted until 2007. A year later, the Grammy winner’s relationship with Spanish model Andrés Velencoso (45) became known; the couple broke up in 2013. From 2015 to 2017, the British actor Joshua Sasse (36) was the man at Minogue’s side; the couple met on the set of the musical comedy series “Galavant”. Most recently, Minogue separated from her partner Paul Solomons (47), with whom she was together for four years, last year. An unnamed source told The Sun at the time: “Kylie and Paul really tried to make it work, but ultimately the time difference was the killer.”
Things could hardly be going better for the singer professionally at the moment. After her career stalled a bit over the past decade, she is now finally back at the top. With her new dance album “Tension” she stormed to the top of the British album charts in September 2023, and on February 4th her new hit “Padam Padam” won the award for best pop dance at this year’s Grammy Awards. Recording excellent. Since November 2023, she has been on stage for a series of concerts at the legendary “Voltaire” Club at the Venetian Resort Hotel in Las Vegas. She even reportedly has a unique “lifetime residency” contract for her shows in Las Vegas. Minogue will be honored with the Global Icon Award at the Brit Awards on March 2nd.
