Relatives of victims of the ARA San Juan “do not endorse the content” of the Netflix series

The relatives are negotiating with Netflix for the possibility of knowing, in a sort of avant premiere, the content of the series before March 7.

Relatives of the submarine victims ARA San Juan announced that they “do not endorse the content” of the eight-chapter documentary that the platform will premiere Netflix on March 7 and they stated that they could appeal legally for its content.

“Given the imminent premiere of the documentary series on the ARA San Juan, they state that They do not endorse its content because they do not know it.. Unfortunately, the platform leaves the families of the crew members to wait for a ‘premiere’ date, having to find out on television what it is about,” the majority complaint expressed in a document.

The relatives, represented by lawyer Valeria Carreras, announced “the discomfort with the way in which dissemination is approached“, without having given the mothers of the minors, sons and daughters of the crew members, the necessary time to prepare them.”
