The English writer and journalist Vanessa Bellknown for organizing tours and experiences that combine architectural and cultural findings from Buenos Aires, teamed up with the writer Mariana Enriquez and together they launched a call for multidisciplinary artists to send proposals and works to feed an exhibition that will bring together works inspired by the stories and novels of Mariana Enriquez, in the run-up to the publication of her latest book of stories, “A sunny place for gloomy people”which goes on sale in March.

“Last year with Mariana Enriquez we had the idea of joining forces and organizing a call for a pop up event/exhibition of works inspired by Mariana’s stories and novels. We did not expect such a response nor to receive such varied and high-quality work. “We were excited but it also overwhelmed us a little, and both of us with a lot of work and other projects realized that we didn’t want to do something mediocre to the bullfights,” Bell said about why they decided to wait until this year to relaunch the initiative.

Where to send proposals for the sample
