YSL was transparent on the catwalk. Carla Bruni chose a slightly more high-necked look for the front row.
Carla Bruni (56) has once again proven her sense of style. At the Saint Laurent show during Paris Fashion Week, the former model and former French premiere dame appeared in a khaki one-piece, which she paired at the waist with a thick brown belt.
She also wore brown leather gloves, thick gold bangles and brown stilettos with kitten heels, and she temporarily shielded her eyes with large, dark sunglasses.
With Monica Bellucci in the front row
During the fashion show, Bruni took a seat in the front row – next to actress Monica Bellucci (59) to her left. The Italian was dressed in an almost floor-length, shiny leather coat, underneath a strapless black jumpsuit as well as a black and silver belt and also jet black sunglasses.
Transparent outfits on the catwalk
The catwalk was dominated by looks made of transparent materials – in keeping with the current “Sheer” exhibition in the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris – with almost every model’s breasts showing through the material. YSL creative director Anthony Vaccarello (42) was inspired for the new collection by, among other things, old designs by founder Yves Saint Laurent (1936-2008), but also by Marilyn Monroe’s (1926-1962) famous “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” Dress that Kim Kardashian (43) wore to the Met Gala in 2022.
Also guests at the show at Place Jacques Rueff were celebrities such as supermodel Linda Evangelista (58), model Kate Moss (50), Georgia May Jagger (32) and actress Olivia Wilde (39), who, like the catwalk models, wore a completely transparent top came to the show.
